Bust the Bank Challenge

Bust the Bank 2

ANBF and First State Bank have formed a little friendly competition called "Bust the Bank."  Our goals: To Lose Weight, Donate, and Have Fun!  The winner, or should we say "Biggest Loser," will be the bank that loses the most weight by August 31st.  Total weight lost between both banks will be matched with canned food donated to Low Income Ministry.  It's our own version of The Pound for Pound Challenge made popular by the reality series "Biggest Loser."  Optimistically, ANBF hopes each teammate can lose 1 pound a week for the next 16 weeks, for a total weight loss goal of 510 lbs.  Participants started the event with the daunting first weigh in at Sapp Brothers using their certified truck scale.  Team ANBF has a starting weight of 5745 lbs for our 33 participants while team First State Bank will start out at 4967 lbs for their 25 participants.  Team building challenges will occur throughout the event.  Let's go Team ANBF!

Alzheimer's Association Midlands Chapter, presented by Nye Senior Services, again will be hosting a Memory Walk on September 12, 2010.  American National Bank of Fremont is a strong supporter of this very worthwhile event.  As a corporate sponsor of a team, you  demonstrate support for the community as well as support for some of America' s most vulnerable citizens.  Since 1982, Memory Walks across the nation have attracted corporate and family teams, caregivers, and walkers to stand behind those affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.  We hope you join us at Clemmons Park on September 12th.
